Placement Policies


                      
1.    Based on the output from SEP Score(Students Employability Potential Test, consisting of  Aptitude and Communication Test) the students will be divided into 3 Groups namely A,B,C.

2.     “A” Group students to appear only in the campuses suggested by the Placement Cell and they do not have the right to say NO.

3.      “B” Group students will be given the right to say NO to any 2 opportunities that are offered to them during the placement season.

4.     For “C” Group student’s appearance in all the campuses that come in the college during the placement season is compulsory.

5.     For any Group if the student misses 2 opportunities he / she will be debarred from the entire placement process.

6.     B and C Group candidate’s claims for the higher campuses can only be entertained once they have shown their potential in smaller campuses by getting selected in them.

7.     If the candidate has made 3 appearances in the campuses and yet is not selected it will be inferred that either the candidate is not interested or he/ she lack the potential to clear the campuses and henceforth will not be considered for the campus any further.

8.     “C” Group candidate selected in any low profile company (which is a low profile company will be decided by the Placement Cell consisting of Director and Faculty coordinator) will be allowed to appear in any 2 Big Campuses of their choice.

9.     “B” Group candidate selected will be allowed to sit in any 2 Big Campuses of their choice.

10. Privileges granted under Clause 8-9 are under the discretion of the Placement Cell and will be dealt on case to case basis.

11. Group A student showing his /her interest in the campus meant for Group B or Group C can  be allowed to appear in the campus but once selected his further appearances in the campuses will be frozen.

12. Group system will not be applicable in Open Campus

13. Any student selected through his/her own effort and produces the offer letter in person to the Faculty Incharge will be entitled to all the benefits of a placed students, however as far as the opportunities from the institute is concerned such candidates will be treated at par with the unplaced students and shall be liable to all opportunities of unplaced students.

14. Student selected through the College Campus can’t appear in the open campus without the prior permission of the Placement Cell.

15. Apart from the Aptitude and Communication skills, academic performance can also be the criteria subject to the requirement of the companies. The decision to this effect will be taken by the Placement Committee on a case to case basis.

16.  Once selected, it’s mandatory for the candidate to join. In any case they can’t say NO or else face debarment.

17. As per new scheme of the syllabi both the electives are to be kept at par in terms of deciding your career path. Decision taken on clause 2, 3, and 4 will be based on openings available with corporate, students will not be given any choices in terms of 1st or 2nd priority. Candidate will have to appear in the Campus offering profile on any of the 2 electives.

18.The whole Central part of India in not Industrialized up to a great extent, reason being we cannot expect high packages, challenging profiles and good brands. Students are encouraged to move out in Western parts of our country or at Pan India level where ever there are openings. Keeping all things in background locational preferences will not be entertained. But student not preferring to go out of Indore have to appear in the campus offering Indore location irrespective of their Grouping/Package/Profile/Industry.

19. These Policies have been framed to provide you with multiple of opportunities and even multiple offers if possible, but due care has to be taken to ensure that in doing this we do not hurt the relationship of the institute with the concerned companies. If at one point of time we come across a situation whereby we have to choose between the interest of the students and the interest of the Institute without second thought Interest of the Institute will be give precedence over the interest of the Students and the decision of the Placement Committee to this effect shall be final.

20.Subject to the final approval of the Placement Cell it has been decided that only those student’s who have had regular attendance in the class will be allowed to appear in the campus. Thus the list of the students who are qualified to appear in the campus will be submitted to the Programme Coordiantor for the approval, who has the right to refrain ,students not regular in the class, from appearing in the campus.

21.  These rules are tentative and can be changed/modified from time to time by the Placement Cell in the longer interest of the Student/Institute.

22.  Students who get placed have to report the same to Faculty Incharge T & P along with the Hard Copy of the offer letter, failing which they will be deprived of the benefits offered to the placed students.
